We bought this mostly to increase mileage, which it does by about 1 to 1/2 mpg. I think it mostly works by encouraging us to keep our foot off the gas - the car definitely has more power, but when you punch it, you hear it, so unless we need the acceleration, we just don't punch it anymore. The filter itself is great - easy to clean, much better performance than stock.

Bosch 67617 Original Equipment Replacement Electric Fuel Pump Review

I had bought this one after purchasing a Airtex pump and installing it and that one failed shortly after installation. Needless to say the Airtex pump fell short of any quality or anything else- My original OEM pump had over 200K without issue. I had to re-drop the Tank and install the Bosch Pump which is what I should have bought in the first place. I Highly recommend spending a few extra dollars for the Bosch unit over any other brand. These units work out of the box and the rework rate has been very low. Save yourself time and money in the long run. Buy this one once rather than "Trying to find one that works".....

So far over 5k Miles without issue.
