Don't mind the picture, the faceshield is clear. Doesn't matter though, because it has an internal darkened visor, works great. The modular system works well and feels pretty secure, haven't had an off yet.

Victory Motorcycles Cross Country Flip +3" Windshield pt# 2878174 Review

Received the item in pristine condition; installed easily in minutes. Left for a trip to Estes Park, CO next day...in the rain (no way I'm postponing vaca over a little rain, or a lot!). Windshield worked very well for keeping the driving rain off me, providing adequate protection to drive safely. However, for my 5' 8 1/2" height, the top of the windshield cuts perfectly across my line of vision for how I normally cruise. All day long I was constantly slouching or elevating slightly to get a clear view of the road ahead. I know you can't predict the height of the shield for every rider but it was ridiculous especially on curvy mountain roads; you had to pick your line either fully inside the edge of the shield or out to navigate properly. The solution is to trim it as I have done with others in the past. Unfortunately it won't happen before my trip to Montana so will go with the standard shorty shield. I'm giving it a four because I'm anticipating it being perfect following the modification and it does such a good job with the rain and decently with the wind deflection (again a height challenged issue.

I have a rotary, which runs hot, so this range is ideal for even the more extreme high-rpm, high-heat situations.

The threaded NPT sensor bung is rather soft, the hole i put it in wasnt perfectly threaded and I ended up stripping out a few threads. Cleaned out the threads and tried again, no problem.

Scorpion Hat Trick Jacket - 2X-Large/Black Phantom Review

The jacket is a product that delivers on the money I put into it.I use this jacket everyday during the summer months and when I can during the winter months. The outer layer is made of a very quality nylon fabric. The waterproof/windproof layer` functions exactly as it should. The thermal layer is there but in my experience does not do as much as I thought it would. I have worn this jacket in less then 40 degree temperatures. I had to wear a long sleeve silk undershirt but the jacket kept most of the cold out for the 20 miles to my college. The layers are attached via buttons and zippers. The only complaint I have is that on the right sleeve the attachments for the wind barrier and the outer shell are in the wrong spot. When connecting them the windproof layer twists inside the sleeve of the outer shell constricting the passage. It is not user error I have tried every position to fix the problem. it's irritating when wearing the jacket and feeling the right sleeve to be more constricting at the wrist then the left. For that I will take one star away. That is the only gripe I have about this otherwise great jacket. Thanks for your time.
