The instructions have good photos to guide you through the installation. They apply to only one model year, so there are small changes that you have to adapt to in order to get the inside of the dashboard apart to install the device. I don't do much work on vehicles, so it took me around 2 hours to install it. I think I could do one now in an hour. I had problems getting my computer to connect to the module and wound up having to do it on a spare computer I had. Tech support is not open on weekends, but did get back to me on Monday with instructions on how to get a balky computer to work. By that time it was already installed, so I didn't need them, but they did respond to my email inquiry. The software that sets the module that adjusts the speed is infinitely variable, but comes with no instructions. I knew that my speed was off around 9%, but you can't enter 9% anywhere to make the change. You have to do it by entering different tire sizes or different gear ratios. The first combination I tried was going from 16 inch tires to 15 inch tires and that gave me around a 9% change. I set the module using that combination, and it was right on. The device works as promised. My speedometer now matches my GPS. I'd give the device 5 stars but I had the problems noted above.
