First, I'm really happy with how these look on my truck, and would definitely buy them again. They look very close to the factory GM 6" steps, at a fraction of the cost.

Here are some of the drawbacks: I put these on my Silverado 3500HD. They are big steps, and protrude both downward and out beyond the body significantly. Once they're on, you pretty much have to use them to avoid an awkward entrance into the truck without hitting your knee on them. I think they look great on a big truck, but I would think twice before putting them on a smaller vehicle.

The other feedback I would offer is to make sure with the kit you order that the manufacture date is current. Westin has changed their kits to keep up with minor manufacturer changes. In my case, I got a kit manufactured in July 2012, and it wouldn't fit my 2013 truck.
