This is really a nice looking bag, but don't rely on the universal mount to support the weight. You'll want to sit this on top of a luggage rack because if you don't the support system just won't hold up for to many uses before it rips out at the seems or tears the bag. The empty bag itself is heavy, but that doesn't translate into overall better quality if you're the type of person that likes the 'feel' of quality/durability. It's made from a vinyl material that probably won't take much abuse. For the packing purpose it is spacious and can hold a lot of clothes and gear. The numerous pockets are great for keeping things organized and easy to get to without digging through everything. The buckles are nice looking and have a lock feature, but the straps aren't really heavy enough to provide any security so they're not worth the added effort it takes to undo them to get into each pocket, makes getting in and out tedious with the added zipper as well. Snaps would have been nice. Mine didn't come with the locks promised, not that I would have used them. It comes with a rain cover, backpack strap, and a duffel-bag shoulder strap. The rain cover and shoulder strap take up one pocket on the duffel and we left the backpack strap at home because I'd never use it because it's way to heavy an uncomfortable to carry that way.

I guess I really liked the look, but next time I might buy a bit more practical...
