Home mechanic here that loves an excuse to collect tools. I recently installed 4340 chrome-moly front axles on our 2006 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited (we're into rock-crawling) and included with our new Factory Ten axles from Northridge 4x4 were new Spicer U-joints so I could rebuild our stock Dana 44 front axles to keep as trail spares.

This tool kit worked extremely well for pressing out and in the U-joint caps. The tool quality is quite high (like I mentioned, I'm a collector and I like quality) and I was surprised at how nicely finished this kit looks. This is *not* your usual HF $40 discount Chinese kit of tools (country of origin for mine is Taiwan.)

This kit will also press out and in ball joints. I bought this kit specifically since it was compatible with Dana 44 axles - it does cover more territory but I can't speak to that.
