Canton Racing Products 24-026 Accusump 2-Quart Accumulator Review

This oil accumulator is an excellent product. If you are concerned with oil starvation, this is an excellent solution.

The issue I take with the accusump, is its suggestion that you need expensive steel-braided hoses with 10AN fittings on the end. It would be one thing if the accumulator came with 10AN fittings, but it comes with 1/2NPT fittings. In-fact, all of their accessories are 1/2NPT except for the Tee fitting. Instead of suggesting 10AN for all parts which leads to several 1/2NPT to 10AN adapters (all of which are further points of failure), they could suggest all 1/2NPT tubes and fittings to reduce the cost, the size of the actual installation, and the number of components in the system.

I installed this with all 1/2NPT fittings and it works perfectly!

I don't understand the whole measurement/sizing they offer, but I'm 5'9" 160lbs and the small fits absolutely perfect.

Most of my riding is to and from work, so temps vary greatly within the day. The versatility of this jacket is perfect. Seeing how well this is constructed and the price point, I can't see a jacket out there that exceeds the value of this one.

The air deflector came on-time and all the parts were there, including longer push pins and 2 alcohol swabs to clean the area. I installed them today in 1.5 hrs and they look great. Per the instructions, it takes 72 hrs to fully adhere and not to ride for at least 24 hrs so I'll wait. Maybe that's why some others middle piece have fallen off. Even though it said it was for a 2006, it fit my 2007 fine-several years have identical bodies. I live in NC and only interested in solving the heat issue so I didn't buy the mirror set.
