I got this compressor because of the price point. I am doing the AC work myself and felt because I did the work it would void any warranty in a more expensive compressor. The compressor fit and I have AC again. with that said I am skeptical on word NEW in the description. I do in fact hope its a new compressor, but there was road grime evidence in the screw threads on the low side hookup. I hope this was grime from factory testing, but time will tell.
