For the audiophiles out there Rugged Ridge has developed the 6-speaker sound bar. Separating the frequencies means each speaker receives only those sounds it was designed for and in turn can handle more power with less distortion (up to 100w peak power per side). The 6 speaker system includes a 6. woofer that boasts a large 10oz. magnet, a 3-1/2. high compliance midrange and a 1. tweeter with a neodymium magnet and ferrofluid for superior dispersion and efficiency. The tweeter also swivels to adjust imaging. Map light not included.

You have to have one of these if you have a soft top jeep. If you don't you need one. The reason for two stars is: as soon as you get it you will realize the factory speakers suck and you will need new ones. The bar itself is great, but the speaker quality is worse than the $11.00 speakers from wally world. The two big speakers are easy to find replacements and the two small speakers are easy to find. The middle size speakers are an odd size. They suck too so I just disconnected them when replacing the others. Now the speaker bar sounds great, is loud and clear. No more distortion. Sucks to spend the $250+ then turn around and spend more for speakers but if you want to hear over the soft top and wind noise it is a necessary evil. The lights are dim but function. Overall great design cosmetically and it functions. As far as quality, I would say the bar is great and the speakers suck.
