Civic 3Dr Exhaust Header, Cat Back, Catalytic Pipe Review

This is a really good exhaust system for a 92-95 Civic Hatchback. The only issue I found with it is that the manufacturer welded the two hangar rods for the middle of the vehicle about 2-3 inches too far forward (towards the engine) to align up properly to the hangars welded to the underbody of the car. My solution was to get a 2nd pair of rubber hangars, put them on the car and wire the rubbers together (the ones on the car to the ones on the exhaust pipe). This essentially made the rubber hangars doublely thick. Also, the manufacturer put the pointy side down on the 3 bolt flange. This puts the exhaust lower with stock hieght clearance, now the flange drags on some speed bumps. If the flat side had been down to the pavement, it would be closer to maintaining stock clearences.

Other than these small manufacturing issues..... This is a great exhaust. It looks great, sounds great and definitely gives a nice power boost to the vehicle and is half the cost of some cat back only systems. The high flow cat is not actually a catalytic converter, I've sinced learned, it's a resonator so a true high flow cat will need to be purchased if you must pass emissions. And it's easy to install being a total bolt on system.
