I installed this product today in approximately 90 minutes with the help of a friend. I own a 1992 Mustang LX Hatch.

The product arrived double-boxed. The lights were individually packaged with foam filler, then placed into a manufacturer's box. This box was then placed into an Amazon box with more padding.

The factory light plugs for the lights on either side of the headlights had to be cut off. The kit does supply new bulbs, so there's a bit of wiring work to cut, splice, and tape the new plugs in. Your factory plugs will NOT work. There were also included connectors for the headlights - although there did not appear to be any difference in the actual plug. I used the supplied connectors anyway.

The picture doesn't exactly show this, but there are 3 LED lights to the outside of each headlight. They are wired, but there is no indication how one would connect them into your current electrical system. There were no instructions with the lights. I zip-tied off the wires and didn't bother connecting them.

Fitment is almost perfect. Not quite. There's about a eighth of an inch of room in the far outside corner of each light, and I wouldn't say it was perfect overall. The one-piece looks so much better than the stock 3 piece units that I didn't really care that much. Be careful when tightening the bolts. My friend almost tightened one too much. You don't want to crack these lights. If you need more room, loosen the radiator bolts and move it back, you can get room that way and by removing the battery. We also accessed the last bolt on the lower inside by going underneath the car. You will end up with 6 extra nuts from the stock units that won't get used by the one-piece unit (it uses 4).

Overall I would rate the product 4 out of 5. The lights look great, fitment is good but not perfect, and the lack of instructions plus the need to rewire dropped it down. If it had been "plug and play", regardless of the fitment, I would have rated it a 5. All in all, this is definitely an upgrade over the stock lights.
