Purchased these headlights for my 2001 Mercedes Benz SLK 230. In looking over the reviews, I felt somewhat comfortable purchasing them.

Very good look, if not excellent; LED circles around the lights look nice for the "driving/parking" lights. The OEM "bulb" for the "driving/parking" light has a dual "bulb", which this only has a single "bulb". So your second bulb is now the LED lights, that is if you wire it up that way. The wiring connectors for the turn signal and driving lights do not fit at all. I had to cut some wires, solder some pieces in the original connector, drill a different whole so it would fit and splice the driving/parking lights with the wires for the LED lights which came out of the bottom of the entire socket.

Defiantly not a plug-n-play solution, took hours to replace and a trip to the local auto store for some parts. Also blew a fuse and bulb driving to figure out which wire went with what bulb.

Very confusing, no documentation that is worth anything.

If it wasn't for the great look, I would have put this at a 1.

Suggestions for other reviews that say it fits great, they should list the car it fits great with. The SLK 230, which Amazon says is a fit, it doesn't as "perfect" as you would think it should. "Fit" is just in the wiring and plugs, like I said the look was really great, makes it look brand new.
