Soft leather (but not flimsy) very easy to move around in. Good zippers and snaps. I ordered 1 size larger and the fit is spot on. Sleeves are plenty long enough for riding as is the padded tail. First ride with this jacket the day started in the upper 50's, middle of the afternoon was sunny and just shy of 80 and before we got home that evening we were in the low 50's. Taking out the liner and opening vents and then closing vents and put liner back worked great to keep just the right amount of warmth and cooling. I would recommend this jacket to anybody looking for a quality jacket at a reasonable price. Heck, I can even snap the collar closed AND turn my head from left to right! LOL I don't get to do that very often.
