I put the kit on my WR400 to make it street legal in Arizona. The mirror is crap, so I replaced it with a MSR mirror right and left. The system blew a fuse when I honked the horn a few times in a row. You have to be very careful how you route the wires in the front so you don't get them caught in the steering stops and cut the wires in half. My kit has the little battery pack, and I left them on to see how long it would last. After 6 hours, I went to bed and woke up to a dead battery back. So they will last for a very long time. I turn them off when I am in the desert to conserve the battery.
Overall I think it is a good package. I put one on the Suzuki DRZ400 I used to have and it worked with the factory battery.
I think it would be better if the combined more switches and had an ignition switch.
You have to turn off the lights when you shut the bike off.
